DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: May 12, 2026

Bridelume respects the intellectual property rights of others. We respond to clear, valid notices of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and to comparable notices under EU and UK law.

How to file a takedown notice

Email dmca@bridelume.anten.site with all of the following. Missing any item slows things down or makes the notice invalid.

  1. Your full legal name, postal address, telephone, and email.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The specific Bridelume URL(s) where the allegedly infringing material is located.
  4. A statement, in good faith, that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge receipt within 2 business days.
  2. We review the notice. If it is valid on its face, we remove or disable access to the content typically within 24 hours.
  3. We notify the user who uploaded the content, including a copy of the notice, and explain how to submit a counter-notice.

Counter-notices

If you believe content you uploaded was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. Email the same address with:

  1. Your full legal name, postal address, telephone, and email.
  2. Identification of the material removed and the URL where it appeared.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial address (US users) or your country's courts (non-US).
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

On receipt of a valid counter-notice, we'll forward it to the original claimant. If they don't file a lawsuit within 10–14 business days, we restore the content.

Repeat infringers

We terminate accounts of users who are the subject of repeated, validated copyright complaints.

Designated agent

Bridelume's designated DMCA agent: dmca@bridelume.anten.site.

Note: this policy is a starter template. For US Safe Harbor protection under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2), Bridelume must also register its designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. This should be completed before commercial launch.
