Terms of Service
By using Bridelume you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. We've tried to write these in plain language; if anything is unclear, email hello@bridelume.anten.site and we'll explain.
1. What Bridelume is
A QR-code-based photo-sharing platform for events. Hosts create an event, share a QR with guests, guests upload photos and videos that appear in the host's gallery. Optional auto-mirror copies every upload to a cloud account the host already owns (Google Photos, iCloud, Dropbox, OneDrive).
2. Accounts
- You sign in with a magic link sent to your email — no password.
- You're responsible for keeping that email address secure.
- One account per person. Don't share it.
- You must be at least 18 to create a paid account.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use Bridelume to:
- Upload content that's illegal where you live, or where we operate (EU, US).
- Upload sexually explicit content or images of minors that wouldn't pass standard wedding-content moderation.
- Harass, dox, or intimidate anyone.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or circumvent rate limits.
- Resell the service or operate it on behalf of third parties without our Planner-tier license.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this section.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to the photos, videos, and voice messages you upload. You grant Bridelume a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, process, transcode, and mirror them — strictly to provide the service. We don't claim ownership, sell prints without consent, train AI models on your photos, or include them in marketing without explicit permission.
5. Pricing and refunds
- Free tier: $0 — 1 event, 100 photos, 30-day retention, watermarked gallery.
- Wedding tier: $39 one-time — unlimited photos and video, original quality, 12-month upload window plus 12-month storage, live slideshow, AI moderation, sub-galleries, audio guestbook, 17 languages, no watermark.
- Forever tier: $69 one-time — everything in Wedding plus face-search, auto-mirror to your own cloud, Grandma phone-line, AI highlight reel, 5-year archival.
- Planner tier: $29/month/seat — multi-event team dashboard, white-label, API access.
- Anniversary add-on: $9/year — "1 year ago today" memory emails and collaborative anniversary albums.
Refunds
We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase if your event hasn't started yet, no questions asked. After your event date, we'll refund pro-rated based on remaining storage time. Email hello@bridelume.anten.site.
6. Service availability
We target 99.5% uptime but don't guarantee it. We schedule maintenance during low-traffic windows and post status updates. We're not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers (Cloudflare, Neon, AWS).
7. Termination
You can delete your account anytime from /dashboard → Settings → Delete. We'll remove all your data within 30 days. We may terminate accounts that violate Section 3 with reasonable notice unless safety requires immediate action.
8. Service shutdown commitment
If we ever shut down Bridelume, we will:
- Notify registered hosts at least 90 days in advance.
- For Forever-tier customers: complete a final mirror to your connected cloud before shutting down storage.
- For Wedding-tier customers: provide a bulk-download link for the full storage window remaining.
- For Free-tier customers: provide a 30-day download window.
This commitment is the entire reason Bridelume exists. We will honor it.
9. Disclaimers
Bridelume is provided "as is". We don't warrant uninterrupted service, error-free moderation, or that auto-mirror will succeed against every cloud provider's API changes. We will do our genuine best on all three.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bridelume's total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [TO BE FILLED — likely Wyoming or Delaware on LLC formation], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in [TBD], except small-claims-court matters.
12. Changes
If we make material changes, we'll email registered hosts 30 days before they take effect.
